Why I Help Therapy?

"Nothing every goes away until it teaches us what we need to know"
- Pema Chodron"

I Help Therapy was created from the belief that the things we struggle with aren’t random or signs of failure, they’re signals asking for care, understanding, and support.

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand. Others carry stress or past experiences that show up in their body, relationships, or work, even when life looks “fine” on the outside.

At I Help Therapy, we offer online psychotherapy across Ontario that is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. The work is not about rushing to fix you, it’s about helping you slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and build tools that actually fit your life.

Sessions are confidential, virtual, and flexible, making it easier to access meaningful support without long waitlists or added pressure.

What You Can Expect

A safe, non-judgmental, online space where you’re encouraged to speak openly about what’s on your mind. Our work is grounded in respect for your identity, background, and lived experiences, and guided by evidence-based therapeutic approaches rooted in psychological research.

"There is nothing wrong with you for struggling with what you were never taught how to carry. Healing is not about erasing your past, it’s about learning how to live gently with it, without letting it define you."

- Natasha Elliott
